The resulting yields are miniscule and the berries are intense. A strong core of acidity is complemented by elements of spice, meat and blackberries. A terrific, big Rhone-style Syrah with just enough acidity to make it perfect with food. Try throwing a hanger steak on the grill and opening a bottle of this wine!

The wine was aged for 15 months before bottling on January 31, 2008. This Pinot Noir has exceptional red cherry-pit flavors with a background of cherries, raspberries, dried herbs and tar combine with leafy and earthy vine flavors.
