Welcome to one of California's smallest wineries! We're a family-owned winery that produces tiny amounts of characteristic handcrafted wine selected from single vineyards. “Handcrafted” means that each lot of wine is fermented and monitored in single-barrels which yield no more than 25 cases of wine per barrel. Our family sorts the grapes, monitors each barrel, and sweats the details so you can sit back and enjoy our labor of love! We welcome your inquiries. | San Jose, CA Phone: 408-799-5938 Website: http://www.loosfamilywinery.com Appellation: Russian River Valley |

2010 Pinot Noir - Bohemian Vineyard Bohemian Vineyard, Russian River Valley
"What a wonderful, regal wine. I'm looking forward to sharing this with my readers." Brian Freedman, contributing food and drinks writer for Philadelphia Style Magazine and wine c ... moreolumnist for Affluent Magazine. "The wine has a unique flavor that distinguishes it from mainstream Pinot Noirs. The tannins are supple and the whole package is well composed. Still solid two days later from a previously opened and re-corked bottle indicating age ability. Very good." (Rusty Gaffney, PinotFile, February 22, 2012) "Silky mouthfeel spreads pliable tannins from start to darker fruit finish. Nice depth and complexity. Well balanced." (Winematch.com, January 19, 2012)
