Full body, lots of tannins and a full 30 months in French oak barrels make this wine the most powerful red in the lot. This wine will age for ten more years, but it is very pleasant in its early stage of life. Be gentle and patient with it: decant and allow a few hours before drinking. Pairs well with red meat, rack of lamb and roast pork, and is excellent with beef tenderloin and sautéed wild mushrooms.
