2006 Chardonnay Napa Valley
Our goal with the Estate Chardonnay is to craft a wine of natural acid balance that is fruit forward and expressive of our land and what nature gives us each year. The light straw ... morecolor of the 2006 chardonnay exhibits intense aromas of pear, almond, butterscotch and spice that layer with flavors of fig, tropical fruits and spice in a full-bodied, round and creamy chardonnay with good acidity, a subtle touch of spicy oak, and a long finish. This wine is a splendid accompaniment to a wide range of foods, even spicier dishes, or is equally enjoyable to just sip on its own.
It will provide its best drinking over the next two years. This wine has an even creamier finish than the 2005 as it is fully malolactic fermented.
Only 720 cases made. This wine is always the first to sell out - we expect it to be gone by the end of the year. Order yours today so you don't miss out.

2006 Flirtation Dry Rose Napa Valley
We have decided to move away from the standard prose found on most wine labels and do something a bit more creative. Here is the back label text that Barb wrote for Flirtation: ... more/>
Our dry rose of merlot reveals alluring aromas
of strawberries and cream,
bright teasing acidity,
a silky lingering finish
and just enough grape skin contact to make it blush!
We only made 75 cases - almost all gone

2003 Romance of the Heart Napa Valley
This is a new red blend we have come up with. You may ask "What is the difference between this and Seduction"? Most of the grapes that went into Romance of the Heart came from a vi ... moreneyard block that had been grafted from Merlot to Cabernet Sauvignon. 2003 was the first year the grafted vines had produced fruit. These grapes were a bit young at the time for the Seduction blend, so we kept it in barrels for another 2 years.
This is a very elegant wine with a wonderful nose - it has notes of deep, dark blackberry and plum with hints of vanilla, tobacco and spice. It has a smooth supple entry with a rich, round mid-palate that is elegant in style finishing with soft tannins.
Composed of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, the back label reads:
Extend to me the hand of conversation
Twirl me with laughter
Embrace me with kindness
Will you be mine for a moment
Or a lifetime?

2005 Merlot Napa Valley
Our Merlot is handcrafted from grapes grown in our vineyard in the Oak Knoll district of Napa Valley. Deep and dark ruby/plum in color, the 2005 Merlot is big, dark and intense wit ... moreh mouth filling fruit of blackberry, black cherry and cassis. Aromatics of sweet cherry liqueur, caramel, toffee, coffee, and forest floor that lead to a profile of cedar, earth, black cherry and crème de cassis that is both exotic and elegant. The abundant fine grained tannins and youthful acids provide ample structure to this wine.
This vintage of our estate Merlot can be enjoyed immediately but we recommend it be bottle aged for at least 2 years and up to 10 for maximum enjoyment.

Cuvee

2005 Reflection Late Harvest Cuvee Napa Valley
Reflection is the creation of our winemaker David Yorgensen. He suggested that we pick the left over remaining bunches that our grape pickers missed (only about a ton of grapes out ... more of 120 tons...). So we made a field blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot - yes, the same grapes that go into Seduction.
Enticing aromas of blueberry, vanilla and cedar lead into a core of intense berry fruit dominating the palate. Framed by pleasant sweetness and bright acidity, the modest tannins and ripe fruit yield to a velvety mouthfeel and lingering finish on this very small production late harvest red wine.
The back label reads:
Memories of you
Swirl in my glass
Wine on my lips
You in my heart
