Sauvignon Blanc
|
2006 Sauvignon Blanc Dry Creek Valley
Our Sauvignon Blanc is aromatic, crisp and full of flavor. This wine was stainless steel fermented until it reached 5 Brix. At that point 50% of the wine continued its fermentation ... more in stainless steel while the balance was barreled down into three-year old French oak barrels for the final 10 days of fermentation. With aromas of melon and fig, a lively hint of lime cream and a touch of gooseberries, this vintage is sure to be a warm weather favorite.
Perfect for the summer season, we recommend serving this wine with goat cheese salad, grilled sea bass or scallop ceviche.

The wine has completed malolactic fermentation yielding richness ... more while retaining a ripe fruit impression on the palate. Accented by sweet oak, this wine has hints of pear and butterscotch giving it a smooth yet rich mouthfeel.
While fresh with focused complexity, this Chardonnay is food friendly and perfect with this season’s Dungeness Crab. We recommend serving the 2005 vintage with baked rigatoni alfredo, oven roasted chicken or steamed mussels and clams.

Viognier
|
2006 Viognier Sonoma County
A complex mélange of stone fruits lead the bright aromatics of our 2006 Viognier. This wine was barrel fermented and aged in predominately 2-year old French oak barrels. These bar ... morerels were chosen to preserve the bright aromatics and give a subtle, but elegant oak nuance to the flavors. This wine is balanced and vibrant with flavors of citrus, pear and honeysuckle wrapped with a rich, luscious texture.
A favorite with Asian food we also recommend serving our new vintage of Viognier with Prosciutto wrapped melon, grilled prawns or spicy grilled Cornish game hens.

This Zinfandel has claret-like balance with beautifull ... morey pronounced fruit, well integrated tannins and bright, balanced acidity. Flooded with black cherry, currant and cranberry flavors, there are also supporting flavors of vanilla and rich toast from aging in 100% French oak barrels. Though picked separately the Zinfandel and Petite Sirah are co-fermented giving this wine a deep garnet color.
We recommend serving our 2005 Maple Zinfandel with grilled pork tenderloin, polenta lasagna or a wedge of dry jack cheese.

Merlot
|
2003 Merlot Sonoma County
2003 was an excellent vintage in Sonoma County. Cool weather in early spring was followed by good heat in the summer and ideal warm temperatures in September. This balance of weath ... moreer conditions allowed the grapes to experience a “long hang time” to develop rich flavors and ripe, supple tannins. With this vintage our winemaking focus continues its shift to smaller production lots using this concentrated fruit. The resulting wine demonstrates flavors of ripe plum, black cherry, cassis and spice. While the composition may vary slightly from vintage to vintage, this Bordeaux style blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec consistently delivers the rich, full-bodied Merlot you have come to expect from Lambert Bridge Winery.
The complexity of this wine allows it to be partnered with a wide range of foods. Pair with mushroom ravioli, eggplant parmesan or chocolate fondue with strawberries.

Vibrant aromas of fresh raspberry, black cherry, sweet toasty oak and spice characterize this vintage of Merlot. The flavors are full and round, fulfilling the promise of the brigh ... moret aromatics. A rich supple texture and silky polished tannins give the wine a long, lingering finish.
With 16 months in French Oak barrels and a full year in the bottle, this vintage is complex and delicious, showing nuances of cocoa and warm brown spice.
Very enjoyable now, this wine will continue to improve for at least 5-7 years when cellared properly.
We recommend serving with Grilled Pork Tenderloin, Pan Seared Duck Breasts with Lentils or fresh baked Chocolate Chip Cookies.

2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma County
The abundant summer warmth of 2004 brought an early start to a tremendous vintage in Sonoma County. Our Cabernet Sauvignon is open and aromatic, concentrated and vibrant. The flavors echo the aromatics and fill your mouth with luscious Cabernet fruit and sweet toasty oak. Beautifully integrated and refined, the velvety tannins will allow this wine to age well for many years to come.
We recommend serving the 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon with Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb, classic oven roasted filet of beef or wild mushroom bruschetta.
