2004 Holy Smoke Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2004 Holy Smoke continues to be one of our most unique single-vineyard Cabernets. With great extraction and a long, beautiful, supple finish, this wine has layers of aromas and ... more flavors. Coming from the youngest vineyard of all of our Single-vineyard Cabernet vineyards, it shows its attractive youthfulness while exhibiting an amazing complexity. Forward fruit flavors of cherry and berry characteristics glide into big, clean Syrah-like spice and licorice flavors mid-palate. The soft tannins are firm and fully integrated into the wine and the delightful hint of oak will allow it to cellar beautifully for the next several years.

2004 Out Of Sight Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2004 Out-of-Sight Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits the vineyard’s classic “plumminess” with a rich mouthfeel and complex finish. There is an engaging bouquet of violets and bl ... moreack cherry, followed by richly extracted black pitted fruit on the palate. The finish is long and elegant, and enhanced by the soft, sweet tannins and bright acidity characteristic of the vineyard. With its impeccable balance and elegant style, this wine can be enjoyed early for its youthful brilliance or aged for several years as its depth and complexity evolve.

2004 Wild Boar Cabernet Sauvignon
As with all of our wines, Ken uses a specific fermentation and barrel regimen for Wild Boar, allowing it to express its own personality. Aromas of black cherry, cassis and a hint o ... moref oak lead to a sumptuous palate of cherries and cocoa and an intense long finish that seems to linger on and on. The mouthfeel is rich and opulent accented by the full sweet tannins associated with great cabernets. The 2004 Wild Boar Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine to enjoy now for its bold flavors, but will reward those with enough patience to cellar it for five to ten years as it will begin to express nuances only seen in a mature wine.

2005 Sangiovese Pope Valley
Our Sangiovese comes from our Cypress Ranch vineyard in Pope Valley. Sangiovese, as a varietal, is a vigorous vine and will tend to set more fruit than it can ripen properly, so th ... moree vines get thinned throughout the growing season in order to concentrate the flavors in the remaining fruit. The vineyard is on a sloping hillside with ample sunshine, regional traits that the Italians look for when planting Sangiovese.

2004 Club Selection Cabernet
The Oakville, Rutherford, and Pope Valley appellations are producing some of the most exciting cabernets from the Napa Valley. The 2004 Club Selection Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend ... more of the three areas and exhibits the characteristics of each. Our vineyards in these distinct appellations, are farmed using both sustainable and organic practices. They offer an endless diversity with varying elevations, soil types, and exposures. These elements are integral to our unique winemaking process and allow us to create a Cabernet Sauvignon of great complexity and intensity. Each vineyard in the blend serves to complement the other, creating a wine in which the whole is even better than the sum of its parts.

2004 Napa Valley Merlot Napa Valley
Our Napa Valley Merlot remains consistent over the years and this vintage is no exception. It boasts full fruit characteristics of strawberry and cherry with a hint of raspberry an ... mored spiciness. A small amount of new oak barrels were used in the aging process, and we used a combination of French, American and Eastern European barrels to create a pronounced oak characteristic in the wine. The tannins are green tea-like and smooth, making this wine one of our favorites for any occasion.

2005 Rosato
We decided to make a dry Rose for the first time from our 2005 harvest. We immediately pressed the juice off a small lot of Sangiovese grapes as they came into the winery during cr ... moreush and used a few barrels of the red Sangiovese to give it a beautiful rose/salmon tint before bottling. This wine is refreshing and full of fruit –strawberries on the nose with delicious flavors of strawberries and cranberries on the palate and finish. With little residual sugar, this dry wine is perfect for sipping at those backyard barbeques this spring and summer, pairing delightfully with almost anything you can cook up on the grill.

2006 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay
Flora Springs Barrel Fermented Chardonnay is Napa Valley history in a bottle. In 1980, at a time when Chardonnay was the true Ambassador for wines from the New World, Flora Springs ... more began its reign as one of the great Chardonnay producers from Napa Valley. Regardless of wine trends, Flora Springs continues to craft its Barrel Fermented Chardonnay in a style that has inspired both white wine producers and Chardonnay connoisseurs for the last 26 years. The 2006 vintage offers rich flavors of peach and pear with a hint of pineapple on the palate. Due to the considerable richness that is inherent in our fruit, this wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation. We choose to highlight the bright acidity available in our Chardonnay to create a delicious wine that can pair beautifully with food or simply be enjoyed alone.
