2004 Holy Smoke Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2004 Holy Smoke continues to be one of our most unique single-vineyard Cabernets. With great extraction and a long, beautiful, supple finish, this wine has layers of aromas and flavors. Coming from the youngest vineyard of all of our Single-vineyard Cabernet vineyards, it shows its attractive youthfulness while exhibiting an amazing complexity. Forward fruit flavors of cherry and berry characteristics glide into big, clean Syrah-like spice and licorice flavors mid-palate. The soft tannins are firm and fully integrated into the wine and the delightful hint of oak will allow it to cellar beautifully for the next several years.
