It’s gravely Châteauneuf-du-Pape like soils presented budding potential and brilliant promise. Seven years later, this site has exceeded our expectations and continues to excite and impress us with wines of exquisite stature and elegance.

2002 Aida Red Wine
Deep ruby-garnet in color with intense exotic spice and distinct minerality on the nose, intermingled with sweet fig and tobacco notes and lush, ripe blackberry and black currant f ... moreruit. Full and round in the mouth, the dark fruit core is backed by complex and continually evolving coriander, clove, cassis and bittersweet chocolate elements. The distinctive stony minerality continues throughout the very lengthy finish. Velvety tannins and balanced acidity create the sense of approachability despite the wine’s youth—but we suggest cellaring this vintage for at least 2-3 years before drinking to fully appreciate the evolving complexity of it’s exotic spice, mineral and fruit components.
