2006 Chardonnay Carneros Carneros
In the glass, this nuanced Carneros Chardonnay is a beautiful pale gold, offering inviting aromatics reminiscent of baked custard and lemon oil. On the palate the wine reveals bala ... morenced layers of apple and tropical fruit, accented by a hint of enticing cinnamon spice. The finish is clean, crisp and refreshing, inviting another sip. Though already drinking beautifully, this wine will only gain depth and texture with a few months in bottle.

Rosé
|
2006 Rose Carneros Carneros
This vibrant Vin Rosé displays enticing aromas of strawberry, watermelon, and ruby-red grapefruit, accentuated by a touch of orange zest. Though juicy and full of ripe fruit on th ... moree palate, this wine is still quite dry, with a zesty, clean finish. From picnics to BBQs, this delightful wine will pair beautifully with an array of garden-fresh spring and summer fare. For full enjoyment, we recommend serving this wine chilled, and drinking it before the warm days of summer are gone.

Chardonnay

2005 Chardonnay, Wildcat Mountain Vineyard Sonoma Coast
Pale Straw in color, with aromas of lemon oil, vanilla caramel and gunflint. In the mouth there is ripe honeydew melon, citrus, and spiced apple. A richly textured but elegantly st ... moreructured wine with a lot of flavor impact and a long life ahead.

Pinot Noir
|
2005 Pinot Noir Carneros
Very dark garnet in color, this layered Carneros Pinot Noir reveals bright black cherry and sandalwood aromas, with a hint of allspice. Full-bodied, velvety and lush, the palate de ... morelivers all the ripe fruit promised by the nose, with just a touch of toasty vanilla oak to complete the package. Ending with a long, structured and satisfying finish, this wine should age delightfully, but why wait?

Cabernet Sauvignon
|
2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley
Displaying a beautiful dark garnet color, the bouquet of this Cabernet overflows with intense aromas of black currant, spice, and espresso. On the palate, this wine is full and ric ... moreh, delivering robust blackberry jam and dark chocolate layers, with almost no hint of the herbal quality that marks some Cabernet. Though drinking very well now, this wine is structured for the long haul.

Syrah
|
2003 Syrah, Wildcat Mountain Vineyard Carneros
Aromas of milk chocolate, dried blueberry, and just a hint of clove. Black pepper comes through on the palate, along with a solid core of brambly blackberry fruit. There’s a touc ... moreh of stony minerality to the rich but tightly structured finish. Lovely now, but additional complexity should arise after several years in the cellar.

Merlot
|
2003 Keltie Brook Merlot North Coast
Soft and easygoing, yet full of flavor interest, this Merlot shows classic cassis and anise aromas, which give way to ripe black currant and chocolate covered cherry flavors. There ... more is a crisp herbal note on the finish that invites another sip.

Syrah
|
2002 Syrah, Wildcat Mountain Vineyard Carneros
Extremely dark, the wine offers brambly blackberry aromas with hints of sandalwood, charcoal, clove, and black pepper. In the mouth in is ripe and fleshy, with a rich, dark chocola ... morete character and silky tannins evident in the finish. While approachable now, it should repay cellaring for many years.

Merlot
|
2002 Merlot Napa Valley Carneros
Aromas of ripe black cherry, cocoa powder, and sweet tobacco—like the wrapper of a fine maduro cigar. In the mouth it is simply soft as velvet, showing brambly red currant flavor ... mores, with mint and black coffee hints in the lush, smooth finish.

Merlot
|
2001 Merlot Napa Valley Carneros
The deep red color of the wine prepares me for this intensely aromatic and lush Merlot. Distinct, mouthwatering scents of cocoa, cassis and dried herbs clearly tie the wine to its ... moreorigins: the vineyards of the Carneros region. The fruit flavors are dense, and the tannins mature – byproducts of careful winemaking and an indication the wine will age well. I think of this as Old World style, a classic Right Bank Bordeaux blend reflecting Carneros terroir. A serious Merlot, the wine is rich, complex and lasting.
The 2001 Carneros Merlot has both substance and structure, a tasteful match for full-flavored lamb or wild duck dishes. I also confidently pair this rich wine with spicy, salty dishes such as Spaghetti alla Puttanesca.
