Extremely dark, the wine offers brambly blackberry aromas with hints of sandalwood, charcoal, clove, and black pepper. In the mouth in is ripe and fleshy, with a rich, dark chocolate character and silky tannins evident in the finish. While approachable now, it should repay cellaring for many years.
