2007 Rendezvous Rose® Mendocino County
DRY Rose from Carignane, organically grown, shows lots of strawberry fruit and watermelon flavors. This is my all time favorite wine to enjoy with just about any food except roast ... more yak! Especially great with ahi poke salad or smoked salmon dip.

2005 Monga Zin® Cucamonga Valley
The 2005 Monga Zin® is round and juicy, still showing a bit chewy tannins but that is softening quickly. It has a depth of flavor and complexity that belies its Southern CA birth ... moreplace. It has at least 5-7 years ahead before that intriguing spice and powerful red fruit fades out.

2005 Wild Thing® Mendocino County
We released this wine in April 2008. It is delicious in the short term, with a round creaminess in the mouthfeel and bright red berry fruit, but it will improve for at least 5 year ... mores from its release date. Try it with any BBQ, tomato sauces, spicy stuff like chipotle or Szechwan glazes on ribs, and it has a special affinity for game and duck.

2004 Maple Zin® Dry Creek Valley
The last of our 2004 Reserves, its fruit comes from the famed Maple Vineyards in Dry Creek, 80-year-old vines in a field blend that is heavy in Petite Sirah. It has a lot of black ... more peppery blackberry fruit, sturdy tannins and a wonderful chocolatey finish. Can hold at least another 10 years!

2005 Rocky Reserve ® Rockpile/Dry Creek Vly
Our Rocky Reserve is a classic Zin, crammed with the inky blackberry fruit and black pepper spice for which the Dry Creek Valley is famous, with lots of interesting vanilla and spi ... moreces from the variety of oaks. It is well structured for longer age, but can be consumed with delight in the near-term as well!

2005 KarmaZin Russian River Valley
We love to just drink this Zin for its lush juicy fruit and the layers of interesting spice and earthy richness. Full of freshly-ground black pepper aromas and some nice cedary-spi ... morecy oak components, it has a rich creamy mouthfeel despite its firm tannic backbone. This vintage shows a touch of gaminess that I find quite reminiscent of a nice Cotes du Rhone. That wild note is beautifully compatible with game meats, especially duck, or actually with any grilled meats. I also had a nice paring which surprised me—Alaskan halibut with a porcini mushroom sauce. We are still playing with good recipes--if I come across some good ones I will post them on the site!

Trousseau Gris
|
2006 Sweet Caroline LH white Russian River Valley
Made from Trousseau gris (aka Grey Riesling) grapes picked at 30Brix and finished at 6% sugar and 12.5 % alcohol--it is not the syrupy cloying style of many late harvest/ice wines, ... more but is refreshingly light and crisp and great with fruit or creamy blue cheeses!

2006 Black Magic Late Harvest Zin Sonoma County
Yummy Late Harvest Zin, harvested on Halloween, believe it or not! It has 7% sugar and only 15.3% alcohol, making it a lot less fiery than many high octane Late Harvest reds or po ... morerts. It is fabulous with dark chocolate and comes in 375ml bottles.
