Cabernet Sauvignon

2003 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley
Once again as with our past 18 vintages released, this 2003 Altamura Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is blessed with the same quality and consistency which has kept our customers co ... moreming back year after year: the dark, inky color staining your glass, the bouquet of briary dark fruit, like blackberry followed by wisps of truffles and leather. The first sip immediately unveils the deep richness and luxury of this wine, filling your mouth with flavors of black cherry, currant, creamy cocoa, and toasty oak. The elegant texture of Altamura Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon comes through again in the way this wine seamlessly delivers these flavors over the palate, held together and carried by the structure of soft integrated tannins, allowing a long and memorable finish.

Nebbiolo
|
2002 Nebbiolo Napa Valley
Nebbiolo may not be known to many wine drinkers outside of Italy, however the resulting Barolo wine is one of the worlds great wines produced from a single varietal. Barolo, being ... more one of Frank's favorite wines, was the reason for growing and producing a very limited amount of Nebbiolo. This estate vineyard of one and one-half acres sits at an altitude of 1000 feet and produces only about two tons of fruit. After fermentation the wine ages very slowly in French oak for a period of four and one-half years. The finished wine is one of great depth, texture and earthiness. Altamura Nebbiolo is the perfect accompaniment to roasted or braised meats, wild game and truffles. This very limited production wine is available only through our online store and from the winery.

Sauvignon Blanc
|
2005 Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley
Our Sauvignon Blanc comes from our 4-acre 16-year-old dry-farmed vineyard which sits at an altitude of 850 feet. The wine is fermented and aged in new French oak barrels for 16 mo ... morenths resulting in a wine of great depth and complexity, displaying the flavor and textural profile more like a white Bordeaux than a California Sauvignon Blanc. Very limited production of 100 cases.
