Big rich complex Chard. Bouquet suggests butterscotch and pineapple layered with perfectly ripened melon. Flavors galore burst out in the mouth: again a suggestion of melon plus ... morea tease of citrus rather like orange zest. It is rich and full in the mouth and the finishe seems determined to keep on keeping on. Balanced, crisp though rich and dry.
We like it lightly chilled as an aperitif.
Unfiltered. Fermented in French oak barrels. 171 cases produced.
