Chardonnay
|
2005 Russian River Chardonnay
This latest vintage follows the 2004, which received numerous high scores for its classic California Chardonnay styling, nice acidity and tropical fruit notes. As always, there was ... more no Malo-lactic fermentation and no new oak was used in the aging of the wine.
The 2005 exhibits a pale lemon gold color and is defined by an explosion of ripe citrus and floral tones with an oily texture and dense weight that is balanced by incredibly structured acidity. With its incredibly long and silky finish, you will enjoy this bottle through its last drop.

Zinfandel

2004 Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel
2004 was all about structure in the Dry Creek region of Sonoma. The vineyards ripened evenly throughout the season and at harvest we found a small percentage of raisins on the clus ... moreters, providing the wine with tremendous fruit on the nose and palate while giving us solid acid structure not diluted by concentrated, sweet juice. After a long 18 day fermentation and 7 days of extended juice to skin contact, the wine was put into 90% neutral oak and 10% new French oak and aged for 18 months before bottling.
This wine bursts with wonderful aromas and flavors of raspberry and blackberry while the beautiful vanilla sweetness from the new French oak barrels creates a lingering, memorable finish. This is a complete wine that is sure to please.

Cabernet Sauvignon
|
2004 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville
The 2004 vintage is a wonderful blend of Oakville, Mt. Veeder and Pritchard Hill fruit. Aged in barrel for 22 months in 30 percent new French and Hungarian oak.
This win ... moree’s life began with A 72 hour cold soak before starting fermentation giving us nice extraction from the skins and helping to create a wine that is both complex and approachable.
With its rich ruby color, this elegant wine exudes dark notes of black cherry, currant, tobacco and sweet oak. the wine is expressive and seamless, with layers of rich concentrated fruit and subtle tannins that coat the palate. The Finish lingers with nuances of earthy spices and the promise of years of aging potential..
