Gold Note Vineyards, located in Fair Play, California, grows winegrapes in the Fair Play Viticulture Appellation. We make small quantities of rich, complex wines from the Petite Sirah and Zinfandel winegrapes we grow in our estate vineyards and from varietal grapes harvested by local growers in the Fair Play Viticulture Appellation.
We've created a vineyard environment where our winegrapes are grown with loving care. Then we harvest only the grapes that will provide the best juice when pressed during crush. This means foregoing quantity, for quality—we leave behind the grapes that can't carry a tune!
The Gold Note Ranch is also home to Noel Christmas Trees. If you've been to Fair Play, you may have seen our Christmas trees growing along Fair Play Road. Our estate vineyards are located on the hilltop above these trees. | Fair Play, CA
