Chateau Rodin Winery

We are located on the Eastern side of the Sacramento Valley in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Our winery sits at 2600 feet above sea level which provides a Mediterranean climate. This makes Chateau Rodin wines unique because at this elevation we are provided with cool summer nights and warm summer days. This causes our wines to be fruity, complex, aromatic. This also affords our wines to have a variety of spiciness that has not been discovered in wines from vines at lower elevations.

Barbera

A prize winning wine of a deep, dark purple, full bodied blend with soft tannins. It's delicate flavors will not roll off the tongue. Very fruity taste of raspberry, and delightful ... more taste of apple and clove on the back taste.

Its meager, rocky soils coupled with maritime breezes, ample sunshine and the inversions layer’s magic touch result in a complex spice profile (juniper, star anise) and savor ...
