| Located in the Santa Cruz Mountains Appellation, Fernwood Cellars makes a variety of estate wines including Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Syrah. Each evening, the fog from the ocean creeps up the mountains, then stops just short of the canyon where the Fernwood Cellars vineyards are located. As a result, the cold maritime climate intrudes into the warm valley air, cooling the vines.
