This is a blend of two separate vineyards in Calaveras County. The wine was aged in American and French Oak barrels for 16 months. This wine displays great Sierra Foothill spice ... morealong with blueberry/cigar box and jam fruit flavors. The mild tannins and oak notes in this wine will open and continue to evolve through 2013. This Syrah is a big wine but is very complex and subtle at the same time.
