2001 Alexander Valley Carignane
From the day we set our eyes on this patch of vines in the heart of Alexander Valley we knew we were on to something. Working an old style, dry farmed vineyard requires the farmer ... moreto be very hands-on. We reduced our crop and focused on sunlight in the vine canopy to get full, ripe flavors in the wine that resulted. Our carignane is deep and structured with a great nose of toasted cinnamon, clove and orange peel. 120 cases. 100% Tomka Vineyard.
