Double Gold Medal winner at the San Francisco Wine Competition! These Merlot grapes were grown in our Los Alamos Vineyard. Cool nights and mild, sunny days combined to provide a long growing season, giving the grapes plenty of time to ripen slowly and develop maximum varietal character. Aged for 20 months in barrel, this wine is smooth and supple with soft ripe tannins. This is a rich, darkly pigmented, complex Merlot with black cherry, tea, earth and spice nuances.
