2006 Rosé, Vin Gris of Syrah

My favorite summertime wine is a dry, crisp Rosé and this year’s version is similar to the 2005 and again comes from the vines in front of the winery, blended with grapes from Salmina vineyard. I bottled the wine with a screw cap to preserve the freshness and delicacy of this wine. Screwcaps are quite rapidly becoming the closure of choice for delicate wines and I expect them to make major strides with all wines in the next few years. 240 cases produced.
