Cass Winery Grenache |
2004 Rockin’ One Paso Robles
The Grenache was cropped from an estimated 10-12 tons per acre to 4 tons per acre to improve the intensity of the flavor and the color. They were hand picked and delivered to Dan Kleck at his facility in Paso Robles in 2004, the year before we opened our own winery. We were very happy with the nose and the flavors of the Grenache all by itself. We added what we felt was the minimum amount of Syrah to add backbone to the wine without overpowering it. |
