The 2005 Retro Zinfandel has been a very popular wine for BARGETTO, and the 2006 promises to follow along with more of that same great cherry pie fruit flavor. While most Zins are high alcohol blockbusters, here at BARGETTO we like to make our Zins with a little more restraint...this one comes in at a respectable 14.5%. You can taste the red cherry fruit along with black pepper spice and hints of oak. Thre is a firm structure of tannin that will make this a wine to compliment rack of lamb or veal.
