2003 Cabernet Sauvignon, Sacrashe Vineyard

Typically the most glorious Cabernet lot in our cellar, the 2003 Sacrashe once again meets those expectations. The high and low spots of this rolling hilltop vineyard showed slightly different levels of ripeness during harvest and were picked a week apart. The wine is expressive with intense complexity, enticing character, and a gorgeous mouth feel. Only 220 cases produced.

Where do you ever start with the Sacrashe Cab?! Spice rack, boysenberry, deep mineral flavors, crushed rock, blueberry, smoked ham hocks and clove aromas come to mind. The palate is seamless, elegant, a big chewy mouthful, with deep, rich flavors and a beautiful structure.
