Benefiting from the lower yields of the 2003 vintage, this 100% varietal, estate Merlot displays black cherry, blackberry and hints of herb on the nose. Dense and structured, rich flavors of mocha, cedar and just a hint of oak and spice on the palate lead to an elegant finish. Twenty-one months of barrel aging in the finest French oak barrels complements the wealth of intricacies found in this thick and structured Merlot.
