| We have been growing grapes and making Cabernet Sauvignon on our 30 acre estate since 1996. We were lucky enough to inherit some plantings of old Cabernet Sauvignon vines, which originally comprised the majority of our wine. They continue to form the concentrated backbone, and as the younger vines - planted in 1998 - come into their own, they are making important contributions to the color, fruit, and density of the wine. Some of these young, modern plantings have already caught up to the old vines in quality, and we feel that the future looks bright! | St Helena, CA
