JanKris named in the San Francisco Chronicle’s Top 100 Wines of 2005. Those placed in the Top 100 were predominantly rated either Excellent, or the higher score, Outstanding by their panel thoughout the year. We were noted for our Zinfandel in the competition.
The 2006 Sauvignon Blanc is produced from grapes grown in the famous Shenandoah Valley of Amador County. It was cold fermented in stainless steel tanks. The result is a crisp fruity wine with flavors of citrus, gooseberry and a flinty, mineral finish.
