We chose our name based on our experience, that rattlesnakes and the grape vines that grow intense red wines share a particular appreciation for a hot, dry, rocky environment. Our vineyards, located on the Eastern slopes within the interior of Southern Mendocino County California provide an ideal climate for cultivating graceful and audacious snakes; very much like our limited production reds: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Syrah, Syrah and Merlot. Exceptional wines, affordably priced.
