Sauvignon gris is pink color wine grape that is a clonal mutation of Sauvignon blanc. The grape is primarily found in Bordeaux and Chile, were it was imported with Sauvignon blanc and Sauvignon vert cuttings. The grape produces less aromatic wines and is often use for blending.

This rare and exciting grape is a wonderful blending tool for our Estate Sauvignon blanc, offering richness and ripe stone fruit character. In 2006, our Sauvignon gris yielded an extraordinarily complex and unique wine, perfect for our Chairman’s Club. The wine combines hazelnut and sweet oak with tropical fruit, finishing with a burst of mango, guava and lychee.
