The 2005 Ladera Malbec is as bold as it is suave. With its inky dark color and rich aromatics, it is undeniably masculine yet approachable and youthful. The aromas are fruit forward with hints of Bing cherry, peppered meats and smoky fig. The entry is hearty and weighty with soft wet tannins that round out the mid palate and carry through to the finish. The silky tannins also allow for drinking earlier than other Bordeaux varietals.
