Boasting incredibly dark and opague purple color, the wine is replete with aromas of voilets, underbrush, licorice, and a varietally-correct and pungent berry/stone matrix in great concentration. In the mouth, the wine's fruit is initially overcome by very firm chalky tannins, but with aeration, the abundant fruit and semi-sweet chocolate notes come to the front and provide beautiful, silky texture.
