Frank Family Vineyards’ 2005 Sangiovese first exposed itsbeauty through an intense scarlet red color. The aromas arecomplex; ranging from delicate rose petals and raspberryblossom, to cherrywood smoked bacon, followed by richcoffee and cinnamon. Upfront the palate is silky instructure, with bright youthful fruits of sour cherry andcranberry. While the tannins remain soft, a richness of juicystone fruit and black cherry emerge in the mid-palate, moving into a refined finish of smoky spice.
