2004 Malbec
The ripe, juicy aromas of currants and cherries are what you first notice about Christine Andrew 2004 Malbec.
Malbec is one of the traditional Bordeaux varietals flourishing in Lodi. The areas Mediterranean climate of warm, dry summers amid rich fertile soil create an ideal environment for growing Malbec. These grapes have similar characteristics to that of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and are often times rich but delicate.
Malbec tends to be best paired with any red meat dish but can also go great with Mexican, Indian or Italian fare. |
