Stonehouse Vineyards & Winery Syrah |
2004 Syrah Shenandoah Valley
Well drained granitic soil, combined with warm days and cool nights, create ideal growing conditions for this Syrah, the famed varietal of the Rhone Valley in France. Bright, concentrated, red fruit characters, with hints of berry and mocha, are the opening act in this multi-layered wine. Soft, velvety, tannins frame the rich, mouthcoating palate of plum and lavender, finishing with hints of maple and toasty oak. Drink now or cellar 3 to 5 years. Call for availability. |
