The 2005 IV Sons Cabernet is the perfect Stags Leap Cabernet for everyday enjoyment — 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc. With aromas full of dried black fruit, cherries and figs, this wine is supple and full-bodied. The tannins are pure Stags Leap — velvety and lingering. Hints of mocha and a dusting of oak fill out the flavor profile making this the perfect wine to pair with many meals from Pepperoni Pizza to Pasta Bolognese or stewed Chicken Cacciatore. Our IV Sons will age fantastically for 5 to 7 years.
