2002 Two Dog Vineyard Merlot

The Two Dog Merlot is a dark ruby and purple wine with aromatic black cherry and dark chocolate nose. There is a nice richness, medium body with tons of cherry, currant fruit mixed with dark toasty oak. Dress up a hearty weeknight meal or serve it with your best steaks or roast meats, the Two Dog is perfect for both settings. Extremely approachable wine now, it will age nicely for 3-5 years.

Smells of glue and camphor. Tastes of the same. Repulsive and gone entirely wrong. Avoid.

Fat and flabby on the palate with no remaining fruit. ('04 vintage)
