The rich, weighty Merlot of our Pritchard Hill vineyards has become an outstanding representation of the varietal. Year after year, intensely flavored berries from the hillside vines evolve into a robust wine that has been acclaimed as "best of the vintage".
Deep in color and concentrated in aromas, this wine is highlighted by ripe cherry and plum. Rich notes of dark chocolate, spicy oak and subtle dried herbs round out the opening bouquet. A sweet impression of ripe fruit and spicy oak fills the palate, framed by a firm, balanced structure and a multi-dimensional finish.
