Fruit for this vineyard-designated wine came from the Rodney Shull Vineyard, part of Fess Parker’s estate in Santa Ynez Valley. Situated atop a mesa, the vineyard enjoys warm temperatures tempered by morning fog and cool afternoon breezes. This Syrah is expressive and richly layered, displaying aromas of plum, black current, boysenberry and smoked meat. The wine culminates in a velvety finish.
