Grapes for our 2005 Sauvignon Blanc originated from the acclaimed Valley View Vineyard in Santa Ynez Valley, one of the original vineyards planted in Santa Ynez Valley in the 1970's. The wine was 50% barrel fermented and aged six months in French oak. Fresh aromas of Meyer lemon, Casaba melon and kiwi with hints of lime zest and fig highlight this wine. Crisp natural acidity is balanced by a subtle background of French oak.
