Temecula Hills Winery Tempranillo |
2004 Tempranillo
The most pedigreed red grape of Spain, especially associated with its historic Rioja region, Tempranillo possesses a dark lush fruit that ages well. "The nose is of very ripe blackberries mingled with red and black stone fruit like plums and prunes. The dark purple wine fills the palate with a rich medley of intensely ripe fruit. Paella and other rice and grain recipes are lovely with the medium-bodied styles of Tempranillo, Lamb and other fragrant red meat dishes are also good mates. |
