2003 Cabernet Sauvignon
Santa Ynez Valley

The 2003 growing season offered plenty of warmth and sunshine, just the right conditions to grow flavorful cabernet sauvignon. After two and a half weeks of fermentation, the cabernet went into 60 and 90 gallon French oak barrels for 26 months of aging. Sporting flavors of dusty plum and tobacco with a pleasantly dry finish, 2003 Buttonwood Cabernet Sauvignon offers the best in Santa Ynez Valley cabernet: attractive flavors supported by gentle tannins.

Cabernet Sauvignon is the classic red wine. Try it with a classic beef dish like grilled New York steak topped with a dab of garlic butter.
