Martin Ranch Winery
Cabernet Sauvignon

2004 Dos Rios Cabernet Sauvignon
Santa Clara Valley

At the eastern slopes fo the Santa Cruz Mountains, Dos Rios Vineyards grows fruit of unequalled quality. This wine showcases rich berries and cassis up front, transcending into a full, round middle, moving into a long supple, tanic finish. Aged 36 months in 50% new and neutral French oak, it's a big wine to enjoy now or cellar for several years to come.

Rating: 97
This wine really showcases that it was aged for 36 months. Very multi layered, expressing both the fruit and the soil of this wonderful area of grape growing. Still a secret this Martin Ranch, not for long.
Pairs well with A juciy Steak, or a very dark chocolate
