2003 All Night Radio
This blend of old vines Thompson and Colson Canyon is the classic marriage of warm and cool climates. Most of the cooperage here is from the Italian firm of Gamba, who supply such wineries as Angelo Gaja, Tignanello, and Sassicaia, with much of their wood. Gamba wraps itself around this wine like a pair of midnight blue cashmere gloves. The nose is dense blueberry, black cherry, and blackberry. The palate is thick and plush with soft finishing tannins.
