Negrette is the principal grape of the Cotes du Frontonais near the town of Toulouse in southern France. This deeply pigmented wine shares elements of both Pinot Noir and Syrah Noir. Ripe red fruit and sensual, gamey earth tone aromas lead to flavors of bramble fruit and black licorice. Enjoy with rustic Mediterranean style cuisine or grilled or barbequed meats.
