Barbera is a grape variety widely grown in Italy's Piedmont region. Our Barbera exhibits vibrant spice and rich cherry/berry flavors. Higher in acid and lower in tannin than most red wines, Barbera is surprisingly refreshing and goes amazingly well with food. Terrific with pizza, tomato-based pastas, and hearty dishes. Silver and Bronze medals.
