The vintage of all vintages—the 2005 has it all. This wine will be remembered long after it is gone just due to it’s complete manifestation of a truly classic Zinfandel. The entire framework is here; a saturation of dark berries encased within a smooth, velvety mouthfeel then married harmoniously with an amazing tannin balance. Just after you begin experiencing the gobs of fruit, your palate will also be elated to uncover a great refinement, structure and balance to this wine that we’ve not seen before. This vintage is such a true expression of the terroir and distinct climate conditions that so characterized the 2005 growing season.
