Diana Werner, Gideon’s predecessor as winemaker, deserves all the praise for this beauty. Diana’s wines are noted for their delicate aromas and finely tuned balance of acid and sugar as represented here. With plenty of peach and pear, this is an amazing 16-year-old new release. The flavors lean towards tropical fruits with a long, long, refreshing finish.
