100% Syrah. Silver Medal at California Mid State Fair.
Fermented in open top bins and extended maceration process was used to soften the huge tannin. Fermented with the use of a specific yeast strain isolated at the University of Bordeaux for use with Syrah. Barrel aged on french oak for 30 months.
