Cohn Pinot Noir

Planted in 1975, this spectacular Pinot Noir Vineyard would be considered old by California standards. Orginally planted to a massale selection of Pinot Noir (likely Martini 13 and Pommard) Cohn outdates most other plantings in the Russian River Valley by 20 years. The resulting wine, from our most prestigious estate vineyard, is dominated by intense black cherry and raspberry aromas with layers of spice. Year after year this site's hallmark is an ethereally-floral aromatic quality, fine tannins and a long complex finish.
