This wine is a richly hued dark purple with real density of color. The nose offers plums, ripe cherries, and a integrated melange of spice and oak. Fruit driven flavors cover a hint of smoky oak on the palate. Firm tannins coat the mouth, while balanced by the hallmark Calcareous minerality. The most amazing syrah I've ever had; very unique! Regret only buying one bottle. I am looking for more! The bouquet itself is enough to send you over the edge. Then the finish...30-40 seconds later! Almost as good as great sex...actually it's a great prelude to great sex (and this from a straight white male). Awesome!!!
